Personal
As a kid, my family moved very often, so as an adult, I knew I wanted to find a place to settle down and call home. So in 1997, my husband, Matt and my daughter, Rebecca settled into our new home to begin the next chapter of our lives in Newtown, CT. Having lived in Brooklyn, Staten Island, Stamford, Norwalk and Shelton, I was ready to become part of a community. I had just started my marketing company, so networking was paramount. I looked for opportunities to become involved and found among several groups, the Chamber of Commerce. It was here where I started a 16-year adventure by managing the marketing for the Chamber, running town events and working with many local businesses. I quickly developed a lifestyle where I felt like I belonged. There are few places I go where I don't see a familiar face. I shop local as often as I can and am still surprised when I discover new treasures in this wonderful town. I can't wait to share Newtown with you and get you started on becoming a part of this great community.
